Just wanted to say I went ahead and ordered a piece of this and is an excellent airtight fit for store bought 1/4" slingshot ball ammo, airsoft barrel wall thickness, arrived un-bent too. Good find!

Porting and piston form is going to be important to get air out of a short, squat, cylinder into a long, slender, barrel in a hurry. The big issue is, IMO, going to be changing the direction of the air, as such I'd probably go for a conical piston face mating to a conical cylinder end, with highly r...

Ah, that makes sense. I should probably invest in making some of those since all I have are rings and buckets of sand to use until the gyms open back uip.

What's the construction? Using pure oxygen + fuel in plastic piping isn't a great idea. Maybe that's why you didn't actually fire the thing in the video.

Very very very good construction job, :) :) :) :) I like it! The weapon is a little gem, in my opinion. Sometime in about 200 years I will be able to approach its high level of construction. The best I have seen in this forum. Keep building your things, much need. Greeting
