I disagree, good epoxy cast well will be stronger than PVC. I've cast reducers to fit a 0.75" barrel into a 1.3" chamber for a coaxial for example, the amount of hefy hammer blows that you need to break it (something I've had to do, because with epoxy it's the only way you can take things apart *sigh*) is far beyond any abuse it will see during normal usage.MaxuS the 2nd wrote:Would Epoxy casting be a suitable material for large scale fittings though, such as 1"+?
Epoxy chips and fractures if you hit it or drop it, so I won't be going and casting my own reducers just quite yet.
