Very nicely done. It may be a little late to mention it, but R22 systems are higher pressure and thus lower displacement. An old R12 or R134a fridge compressor feeding a small R22 icemaker or ice cream freezer compressor may be an easy way to reach high pressure in a 2 stage arrangement.

hmmm that is a good idea, and good to know.
I did notice that this compressor gets to a much higher pressure by itself than the other compressor I had.
My other one would get just over 500psi, this goes a little over 800psi.
And whats an R22?

Hi I have a compressor mmm those but I have a tiny problem that happens is that some water is introduced into the air and afraid that my tank damage it could do, I'm new thanks. sorry don´t speak much inglish but this page is interesting.

This post is 2 years old, its oil in your compressor air any moisture is from the atmosphere.
Where's my Chuck key?
