I highly disagree I belive the best chamber construction matieral is any metal rated to high pressure.
And the best propellent is helium.
And the best ammo is anything very heavy.
And the best barrel is a golf ball barrel

I think your going to find that opions vary widely on best bore diameter best materials or fuel for spud guns based on what we like to do with our spud guns...
I like distance so my guns generaly are more like cannons with larger bore and large chambers...
Some people like to just plink and there guns tend to be smaller with small bores to facilitate thier particular intrest...
Thats the cool thing about any hobby is the products often vary as widly as the hobbists who biuld them... there is no right or wrong only a way one prefferes to do it....
The real nice thing about this forum is that it brings together hobbist from all over world to share ideas, educate others, brian storm new ideas and make the hobby more fun to participate in...
So before posting an idea or an opinion you might want to post it in a way that you share the information rather then tell it the way it is. That way it helps us all to learn from your design an perhaps to include improvements to our own design or to suggest ideas that may help you to improve your design...
Any why I'm probably droning on but this is my "humble opinion" 8)
