i found some cheap grade X copper on ebay but i don't know what the X means, could someone please enlighten me... and yes i have used google.
ive never heard of it. it probably means that the seller doesnt know what kind it is, so he just put an X there.
like chemical X, you dont know what x is, but you know it exists.
or x+3=24. again, you dont know what x is, but you know it exists.

If x+3=24, x=21, so we do know what x is in that case.
What he has is something more like x=y+q
The only grades of copper pipe that I know of are: air conditioning, DWV, M, L, and K. The seller probably just doesn't know what kind it is. All are good for pressure though.

It could mean 10, as in the roman numeral. Or it could just be made of adamantium.

With copper, unless you have something that can put out more pressure than a shock pump, you don't really need to worry about the pipe. Some of the larger DWV fittings are only rated for about 250 psi though.cool if its good for pressure i will probably buy it.
