How about YOU go back and find the links that interested you and report them back here in a way that will pique our interest. That's your job as the communicator.
Your first effort here isn't very convincing.

Agreed. You cant exactly get on here and say "here is a book to help all of you out" and then turn around and say "oh, by the way, i dont remember where it was from, so youll have to get on google and do all the work that my post was initially intended to do for you, thus rendering this very post useless".starman wrote:How about YOU go back and find the links that interested you and report them back here in a way that will pique our interest. Black, if you expect this post to be helpful, or to stay alive, i would suggest taking the link that frank added and editing it into your original post.

Read the rules? You made a post that was SUPOSSED to help people and then left out ALL of the helpful information.black87 wrote:iisthemuffin.starman go back and read the rules section and is IT going to kill you to be nice and say thank you and then google it .
Im sure many people have googled for rifling. But you say you found a good book and left out the helpful details.
Your original post is complete crap. It is worthless. You simply stated something that many people have already done.
And both starman and myself were, and are, being alot nicer than we really could be. In my last post, i simply offered a suggestion on how to better your post.
Myself and others would happily thank you if you had done anything helpful. You took up space with a thread that offered nothing but i suggestion to search google for something many people have.

No one was flaming you. Sure i got a little harsh but i was not flaming. Its ok to forget. But what im saying is you essentially made a thread to tell everyone that you had forgot something.black87 wrote:I am sorry but is it some kind of ritual to flame someone. If they can't remember

My comment to you was not a flame...believe me, if it had been, you would have been a smoking cinder in the aftermath.black87 wrote:I am sorry but is it some kind of ritual to flame someone. If they can't remember
However, I always try to keep my comments and discussion here useful and positive and choose to never turn the flame thrower on. For that, you can be thankful.
I'm still wondering however; if you can't remember, you don't post...doesn't that make sense to you? Your post was utterly useless and you should be thankful a mod didn't just yank it up by the roots.
We don't dislike you, we're just trying to help you function in the group. Try again with a meaningful post and you'll see.
It does seem that we've been a little cranky, lately. This probably is a nice book, except for that d*** Ares!
