If anything it would be 2.5". I don't have any pool balls nor 2.5" PVC, but aren't they about the same size as tennis balls?

As soon as the pool ball hit something, it's going to dissinagreat. As soon as you get through the enamel shell, they basicly fall to pieces. At least the one I distroyed did. There's probly a bunch of meterails to make them from, I think ivory is the best.

Regulation pool balls are 2 1/4" in diameter so the barrel might need sleaving.

If what DF says is true, 2 1/2" sch 80 will fit them with a difference of .04". Thats a pretty good fit considering GB's and SDR21 only have a difference of .02". 2.5" sch 80 is proably going to be hard to find, considering I can almost get any pipe besides clear pipe and 2.5" sch 80. Unless if you work at a pool ball recycling plant, I think its going a very expensive ammo.

If a regular pool ball have a diameter of 2 1/4" , 2.5" sch80 pvc pipe might be the best.

Following McMaster chart the ID of 2.5" sch80 is 2.290". So there will be a 0.04 gap and mcmaster sell it only 18,36$ for 5' :D

Part number: 48855K31

If youy can get pool balls as projectiles I sugest you this

EDIT:...AHH pimpman got me!

Is this for a strafer by any chance?? That would get my attention....

0.04 is a pretty good fit man...that's about 1mm difference. If you wrap the poolball in some toiletpaper or something it will make an even better seal.

Why don't you use the poolball to make a mold and poor yourself some concrete copies??
Cheaper anyway..
