If it works, why not. Have a look at the tank for excess rusting though, in case the structural integrity has been compromised and you end up with a time bomb.

Alright i will. I was actually asking because i wanted to know if it would fill up too slow or anything like that
Poop.
I have a new craftsman about that size and it is very loud and takes a long time to fill up (about 2 minutes I am guessing). not too sure about this one, but I am guessing it will be louder. It would be nice for larger cannons if it works well though...

I like to play blackjack. I'm not addicted to gambling, I'm addicted to sitting in a semi-circle.

Direct drive air compressors are very loud. This one is in-direct drive, so it wont be as loud. 2hp motor will labor like crazy when it gets to I'm guessing, 75psi. I'd save my money up for a better air compressor, a new one.

Well i found one for 65 at harbor freight. Its 1/3 hp with a 3 gallon tank. It would be ok for spudguns i would assume but i was looking around to see if i could get a better one for nearly the same price.

I've seen some nice looking 5 gallon compressors at target. Their name escapes me but they are dual tanked.

Only .6 at 90? That's horrible, well okay for the price but any decent size cannon will take a couple minutes to fill. There are better options.Air delivery: 0.6 SCFM @ 90 PSI, 1 SCFM @ 40 PSI

Well if i charge the 3 gallon tank to 100 psi will it really take that long to fill a chamber that 2 inch by 1 foot?
Poop.
It should fill it up but maybe only 60 or so psig.

For some reason i doubt that. If im charging a 3 gallon tank to 100 psi and then transfer the air into a smaller tank it should fill up before the compressor tank empties.
