OK, i'm probly not the first to think about this, but immagine using like a well sealed wooden or plastic peg as a wadding, and dropping an arrow (bow and arrow type) ontop of it. That would totally sail. I wonder if it would be faster than using an actual bow. Like, if the velocity of the gasses exiting the barrel is faster than the velocity of a string releasing from a bow. Could be fun, but uber deadly.

Firing an arrow from a spudgun can be done and when done properly, the arrow will probably go faster then one fired with a bow.
