My contribution to Show and Tell.

I've been making these Lawn Darts since the completion of my cannon ...the "44mm HUNGUS". I named this round the "Messenger".

SPECS:
O.D. = 1.696 in.
Length = 11.08 in.
Weight (empty) = 4.48 oz.

Too cool, is there anyway I could obtain more info on the message encased in these... and how the message is "delivered" upon landing? I've been "thoroughly investigating" a similar system using an accelerometer on a simple circuit but would be interested to hear your method!

PM me more details if you can.

Very cool, what's the range using these with your cannon and do you have any data/tests on how accurate they are?

Sounds like you're confident with them enough to consider them worthwhile in say, for example,...A Zombie outbreak, or not???
Cool projectile!!! 8)

EDIT: What do you make the fins out of, (How)???

Can I assume you use an SDR 21 1.5" "golf ball" barrel to launch these babies?

I can see it now: "Like my shooting? Dial 1800-eat shit"

Brilliant, assuming you find them are they reuseable?

I'm not so sure... I get the distinct impression that the messages are on a one way trip, so to speak.

Nice, I gather the messages are spread at rather high velocity delivered to targets beyond the original point of impact...

Unless the person receiving the message has a cannon that has a barrel that size and its capability to fire that range too :D
