Has anyone ordered from these people? I usually buy from Graingers but they don't have a particular bushing I like anymore so I tried McMaster. They told me that their fittings are rated for potable water but they won't say that the fittings are pressure rated for water. "Safe for water" can mean that the plastic won't leach chemicals into the water. Anyone a customer?

I've gotten brass fittings that where great. What are you getting, brass or PVC?

I've always had good luck with McMaster. They may not be the cheapest source but they have darn near everything.

I believe that the "potable water rating" means the parts are pressure rated since nearly all "potable water system" (PWS) are pressurized to avoid sucking cantaminants back into the system.

A quick google should tell you if "potable water rating" requires a pressure rating.

Household PWS systems must withstand static pressures of more than 100 PSI, perhaps as high as 150. Throw in a safety margin and you get pressure ratings for PWS that are probably greater tan 200 PSI. That would be for the pipe and all the fittings.

I've heard good things about them mainly, and nothing bad (except their prices aren't ultra cheap). Huge selection..

I tried ordering oxygen free copper strips, several different grades of garolite, teflon strips and like 100 ultra high tensile bolts, but they wouldn't post international. (no prizes for guessing what i was building)

They are the ultimate convenience store for basically everything. Often they are expensive, but also sometimes they are cheaper than others. I love the place.
