Hour Glass Shapped Dart

After shot.
To make: Cut 6 1-1/2" slits in the shotshell hull and tie a waist with dental floss.
220 gr 717 fps seemed to fly straight.
Penetrated 3 sheets of 3/4 plywood.

I believe that they are OK.
The shot was at 25 feet.

That is a very strange shape... Do you know any pros or cons or this shape? It is cool but seems like extra work to get the same effect...

Some of my darts have tumbled for unknown reasons.
I am shooting them pretty fast and I want them to always fly straight.
Only time will tell if the hour glass shape is superior.
The sliced section has the potential to spin stabilize the dart.

Ok I understand now... Pretty much just searching for the perfect dart. Sounds good.
