1/4in outer diameter tubing

what pressure will vinyl 1/4in od tubing hold i/ve had it at 125 with no problem but it doesn't have a pressure rating on it does anybody have any idea on what it can take?

that can vary greatly. it all depends on the material and the wall thickness.

I'd say the wall thickness is at least a mm, just used it at 60 psi and it work fine and have used it at 125 as I have said before.

it should be good to about 250. on the box that the coils come it it typicly gives the pressure rating if you can go find it

I got it at homedepot and it didn't say anything it came coiled up and attached with a cardboard thing, i even checked in the store and it didn't say anything except "not for use with icemaker" on the tube.

if it doesnt say the exact pressure of the hose then i couldnt give you a more specific answer.

i use some 1/4inch od tubing for my ac compressor. but that is much more than 1mm thick and its nylon not vinyl

thanks for the info I will use it up to 125 because that is all I can get up too, but thanks for the info, I just didn't want it to blow in my face

yeah it definetly will be fine up to 125psi
