I found an online CNC machine shop, I don't know what he prices are like, but it seems like a legitimate place to get spudgun parts machined

The site is very legitimate. D_Hall has directed other members to that site in the past.

From what I understand their prices are quite steep. Around what you would expect for custom machining through the internet

They can also weld, cast, extrude, etc.

Yes, their machining costs are VERY steep. I was thinking of buying a custom part until I realized it'd cost over $200. Some of that cost may have been averted by suggesting they use a pre-made component, but still way above what I'd pay.

You could use their design/pricing software to work out a design you could take to a physical machine shop :)

If you only had $20 for a compressor, I doubt it ;)
