i am making my first pneumatic cannon, but my mom will not let me use spuds, so i am fitting it with a 1" barrel, and am going to shoot the big marshmellows out of it, is this a good ammo?, any suggestions? i can get any size barrel, and spuds are the only restriction, and i also want power, lots of power. hmmmm... (led balls?) lol

Environmentalist parent or something? Im not trying to promote my stuff, but GB’s are awesome. I mean there designed by people that go to college for years. Although you need a supply of golf balls… (Ill let you imagination wonder on that one) If not potatoes or GB’s I guess you can just move to the next fruit/ vegetable.

Potatos are too expensive to use as ammo here,if I bought a bag it would get eaten,R40 for a 5kilo bag! Thats an outrage!

Well i have a 3/4" bore pneumatic cannon and i shoot anything i can find out of it champagne corks cut down with a screw or bolt in it for weighting or large fishing sinkers, they go really hard.I got a link to my cannon if you want to see what a sinker does to 2 sheets of 1"chipboard.

If you want golfballs go to the driving range and ask for their old ones. Usually that's free.

I removed the Location box from peoples posts a long time ago because it was using space that I rather have used for a larger avatar, so people if you want to know where someone is from just click their name it will take you to their profile where their info is listed.

Yes, and don't ever say anything like that on here ever again. I also suggest never shooting anything like that for any reason, it gets animal rights activists mad at us and we don't need anyone tryin to make laws against SPUD cannons.

ok just wondering, wouldnt want to piss anyone off
you don't hear as much about animal rights in iowa, its mostly DNR around here.
and i can freely shoot potato cannons using whatever ammo i want all day long if i please without having to deal with "pigs" or tree huggers or any anal mouth organization like u city people do.

My friend... i work at whole foods market... you dont know expensive food... We have cherries that go for $7.98 a pound i have to put back like 20 of them a day when people realize the bags are almost 20 dollars for a few cherries... we also have chocolate for 20 dollars a pound... potatoes are expensive too..
For ammo marshmallows i dont think have the mass to go the distance against the wind.... batteries could get messey if they hit a brick wall lol...

i always wanted to use the slingshot balls as ammo. it'd be like a low power civil war muzzeloader.
