Hey,
Ive been planning a 3 inch coax. It will be made from pvc. Ive been having trouble finding a couple of the fittings. Ive checked plumbingsupply, savco, and pvc direct. Heres the list of fittings I need. The starred ones are ones I can not find. All are pressure rated. Thanks
1-3in slip coupling
1-3in female slip thread adapter
1-3in to 1.5in slip bushing
1-3in to 1in threaded bushing(thread only on inside)*
1-male 3in slip thread adapter*
That is all.

Check lowes, they may have it. If not, try home depot.

The 3-1 slip-thread bushing may be hard to find but you could probably just nest a couple of bushings to get to the right size, it doesn't take up much more space.

I have no idea why theres no slip to male adapter there is at all my local hardware and plumbing stores.

Plumbing supply has the 3 inch male adapter. You can make the other bushing by getting a 3x2 or something and then putting another bushing in that to get it to 1" npt.

Really, I didnt see it, I feel stupid now lol, I never could find any pressure rated 3 inch fittings at lowes or homedepot. Im hoping my local plumbing supply store will have 3in pressure rated pipe as scrap since they sell it in 20 foot lengths. By the way, is Mips male and fips female? Also are all plumping supply fittings pressure rated.
That is all.

Correct, and yes they are all schedule 40. Someone told me that Ace carries larger pressure rated fittings, you just have to ask them.

It like a 30-45 min drive their so I guess Ill just order them, shippings only like 7.95 for under 40 bucks. Ill get the pipe first, wonder what the pressure rating is, probably like 140, so it should be fine at 60-80.
That is all.

Lowes and home depot only carry pressure rated fittings up to 2" I believe, and that stock is limited. Everything above that will be DWV.

I know for a fact you could get them from Mcmaster-carr. They will list the pressure rating on the idividual product page.

Thanks plumbing supply has them, and gunfreak says they are pressure rated at 2 in, I believe they would have to say not for pressure if they were not, does home depot have 2 foot sections of pressure rated like they used too?
That is all.

Yeah I buy pipe their all the time, some people said home depot has 2 foot sections of pressure rated pipe. I emailed plumbing supply a copy of my order and asked if the were pressure rated. They say they reply within four hours of normal bussiness hours so, I should get a reply tommorow.
Thanks
That is all.
