I have a few questions about compression systems. Overall i was wondering what i could use instead of bike pumps (not very practical for airsoft). I have a Co2 tank and regulator but i need to know how to hook it up so that i can fill my compression tank. also if there are any small battery powered air compressors that i could maybe carry in a backpack? thanks.

I have the same problem although I've dececided rouse a bike pump. What are you powering. If its Bbmgs they suck up power so a co2 tank wont last long [/list]

This build is going to be a long range airsoft rpg not a bbmg

First of all, I would advise against using a pvc chamber with CO2. If it can't be avoided, add a high-flow popoff valve. A steel pipe-and-fittings chamber could contain the full pressure from your tank without failing, but you should still have a popoff out of consideration for your main valve.
Setting up a launcher for a regged CO2 system just requires finding a threaded fitting you can adapt to it. Search for something like "co2 tank adapter" on ebay.
I guess something like this is what you're looking for...

Battery powered compressors are too unreliable and inefficient for a combat game. The weight you carry in batteries could be better spent on a 3 gallon air tank that you fill up before hand.
