BSP Thread Types?

Sorry for spamming up the Construction Materials thread like this.

I recently bought this QEV:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/300780603914?ss ... 1423.l2649

and this slide valve:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/350648712367?ss ... 1423.l2649

as suggested by JSR in this thread to make a semi-auto valve system:
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtop ... 16ecefb969

I was told that they have BSP threads.

However, I looked for adapters for BSP male to NPT female connections and found out that there's BSPP and BSPT.

From what I read, BSPP is not tapered while BSPT is.

What exactly is the type of BSP thread on the QEV and slide valve?

I know it's probably not a good idea/it probably won't even work, but is it OK to attach a BSPP male to a BSPT female (and vice-versa)?

I was considering this adapter:

Will this work with the slide valve and QEV?

Quick update: I checked the manufacturer's info on the valves and I found out that they use parallel threads, so the adapter I linked to will work.

Here are the data sheets in case anyone else needs them:

QEV:

Scroll down to see data.

Slide Valve:
http://www.cn-lida.com/products/KS-Shuttle-valve.html

Both data sheets show a range of models with different port sizes.

Yes, you may apply BSPP threads to BSPT fittings (or visa versa).
