help with one inch ammo

Im in the process of making my FIRST pneumatic cannon. does anyone have any good ammo for 1 inch pvc? besides bouncy balls

Welcome to the forums. I can see you are doing your homework before you start. Hope you stick around and I look foreward to seeing your cannon. I have used 1" wooden dowel rod, and ice slugs. Also bb filled cylinders I made out of non corugated thin cardboard and duct tape. You can use pretty much anything that fits down the barrel. Remember if its not an airtight seal then you should use wadding for a slight boost in performance.

finish your cannon and post pictures, then we can give you a better idea of what would be a good ammo to use for the performance.

I have heard mouse balls work? is this true its 11:30 i dotn want to run down trip and loose my only mouse ball to check.

you could buy 1" ball bearings, or cast a bouncy ball and then melt lead and pour it in the cast and make lead ammo. it would help if you gave some specifics of the cannon to

i cast wax slugs and they are perfect. they have some good weight to them, they fly straight and you can remelt them to make more

thank you guys and i will post my cannon the only reason i hvnt finished yet is when i went to lows and bought a nsf fitting instead of sch 40. also i need to know what size barbed fittings to use in a modified sprinkler valve

NSF-PW fittings are the ones you want.
