Has anyone used any of those prepaid american express or visa credit cards to buy stuff online? Does it work? I'm planning on buying something and I was thinking about using one of those. What would I put for the name and the expiration date and all that stuff. Thanks

Yup, they work in online shops. I have had a few people e-mail me this same question before placing an order at BCARMS, and the funds always transfer just fine.

Those are gift cards, you simply use the code off the card, your name, exp. date will be in the fine print probly labeled void after xx/xx/xxxx, that is the exp. date.

Master/vise credit cards are nothing but high intrest loans from banks. Your probly better off useing a check card instead of a securied/prepaid credit card, processing fee's will probly be cheeper. You have some home work to do!

He wasn't talking abot a credit card, just one of those gift cards. They usually have no intrest because they're prepaid up-front.

On a side note, credit cards can be used responsibly. I have one with no annual fee but a high intrest rate. The intrest rate is never a problem because I only spend what I am prepared to pay back in full as soon as the bill comes. It never costs me anything because I pay on time, in full. I just have it for convenience.

The website may have been busy. Try again tomorrow. You didn't hit the submitt more then once did you? Even if the next page didn't load in your browser, i've had that happen before, got charged twice and had to go through a bunch of crap to get it back.

Would the Visa ones at walmart work? You have to give the cashier money to charge them up.

EDIT: And it also has something on it about green dot.

yes, that one will work as well
in the upcoming presidential election, there will be several candidates who will be running, one of whom is Hillary Clinton. Now WAIT A SECOND!!! I though there was some sort of rule that prevented someone from serving more than two terms in office. Vote Against Hillary: Presidential Elections 08

The green dot ones you have to pay and give them your information and then wait and they'll ship it to you with your name and stuff on you. But you can just get the gift ones and use them right away, and they work only too.
