Yo, I just thought i'd give spudfiles people a chance to get my Logo 10 RTF on ebay for a really low price. I don't know if anyone here flies helis or not, and I actually seriously doubt it, but i'm giving you guys a chance. I won't let it sell for a cheap ripoff price as its retail value as its built now is $1,200.00. I'll let it go for $600.00 maybe and no lower.

I am thinking about selling PoOP! On friggin EbAY soon!!!
Sounds like a cool remote helicopter if I read correctly.
But I want to attach "laSeR beams" to live birds with GpS and an electro-ShOcK guidance system (pre-computer or remote controlled)....

EDIT: edited (because this was too illegible b4)

Many people in the sport have a collection and have a personal favorite transmitter. I have 4 receivers for my 2 transmitters. This is normal. The two transmitters are a pair with a buddy box trainer cord. One is crystaled for air and the other for land, so they are used for boats and cars. Selling a plane with just the flight pack is not unusual in this hobby.Moonbogg wrote:No TX? Thats a newb comment to the extreme. Not a heli flier I take it.jrrdw wrote:90.75 for shipping, nuts! EDIT, the box used for the trainee is used without batteries in it to prevent any chance of inteferance. EG at air field, the land box has no batteries and visa versa. The buddy box cord powers the encoder and not the transmitter. I would not ship either TX with a car, plane, or boat even though I would ship a receiver servos and battery.
Extra transmitters are easy to find. Often in crashes, the flight pack is damaged and the transmitter becomes surplus. Check hobby stores or the local club. Basic transmitters are cheap. Heli specific computer transmitters are not.
As for no battery pack?? who flies a $1,000 helicopter on an unknown battery pack? New battery pack every year is standard. It's cheap insurance.
The same guy who builds a spudgun for $2,000.who flies a $1,000 helicopter on an unknown battery pack?

Yeh. Most experienced R/C people would have a dedicated TX.. I'm looking at a spektrum 2.4 ghz for my cars, but i like nomadio and JR stuff. Could get a module I suppose, we'll see.
As for packs, thats a ditto.
Depending on what kind of pack you use they get destroyed over the course of time. I have like 10 stick packs, which are a bit average so I mainly use them for electrolysis or other power sources now. I keep two sticks for general thrashing.
But hell, that sucks it went for 355. I feel for ya man.
Though if you think going through expensive batt packs is bad (i have average li-pos) then try putting a vector in your car and see how fast you go through spurs and diffs. Don't say throttle control..you wouldn't know how hard it is.
seen as this will just be o'ted to rc cars, anyone know where I can get a motor mount for one of these?
Edit: I have the axia nissan skyline btw, whole body covered in supplied stickers..

Yep, our neighbor gave me one. Mechanical speed control is an epic win. I'd like to restore and rebuild it. It's about 100g over how heavy it's meant to be, which I have no doubt is grease, rocks and dirt.
I feel real sorry for you man, that sucks hard

On used battery packs, I suppose they are OK on a car where you get a warning they are dropping power. Not a problem, turn it around and drive it back. If it doesn't make it walk over and pick it up.
But for servos on a heli, sudden sluggish or non response is a fast way to make it a kit. When you walk over and pick it up, it will need more than just a battery change.

Well, you should have some sort of warning alarm telling you the battery is getting low. Over-discharge ain't so healthy for LiPo batteries

(Since it's still in "recent topics")...
I forgot to mention earlier that when I was contemplating which motorcycle to buy,
I was getting ideas/ kept seeing a few on Ebay that were very good deals.
So I would wait until sale time , have my mind on one, then always something happened at the last moment...
Found one in Ohio way below normal cost, called the dealership, told the salesman I would probably be flying out, and rent a u-haul or ryder truck back.
...He asked how I would pay, I said," Cash", he said ,"Oh, well we are selling (looking) for financing options"
...DAMN SHIESTER's were looking for an idiot to pay way more through interest rates on thier loans!!!
Craig'slist.org is much better and local.
Noticed there were tons of scams on Ebay too, mostly under "Buy it Now"
The funny one's are stories about people "purchasing" real estate, getting a "Deed" that's in color so it looks like crayon, then they travel waaay far only to find out, thier "property" is in a public park area!!!
I gotta study how to do that stuff (maybe)!!! (and spend the money on spud gear)
[/rant] (for the week)!!!

I have 2 lipos for it but they are too old to be trusted. You have to calculate the heli's amp draw and the packs capacity and use a timer to know when you need to land. And it didn't go for that cost btw. Like i'd let that happen.
