I just got this error message when trying to search "3/4" exhaust valve":

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in /home/spudfile/public_html/forums/search.php on line 813

Click on "search all terms"

It does appear to be a problem though for even one word like "valve"

It doesn't help that you used 3/4"

Notice the problem? The quote mark denoting inches is also a search operator, which will probably confuse the forum.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

That is what I thought at first.
I tried valve and got the same error on the default search.

Never had problem previously.

"valve" seems to be the issue, not the ". I've never had a problem before either. Hope PCGuy has seen this.

Probably a built in safeguard to encourage people to use advanced search which is the only way to search properly, and here's a valuable guide.

I know how to use the search!

It only happens with the word valve or a combination with valve in it!

Example; asco You get results.
Try asco valve You get error message!

Just don't use the word valve! :D

nope... try 'gun' instead... the same result

it seems that there are too many result found and the engine (or whatever you call it) can't handle it

That probably is the case!
I tried pvc and it worked.

I guess gun and valve must be the most over used words found so far!
