Is there anyone on the forums with scuba advice? I want to make my own scuba gear again (my old setup had to be used to kill weeds in the lawn...) and I wanted to make it a bit better than what it was. I was thinking something along the lines of a galvanized steel tank, in cased inside some pvc and made water proof so that it wont rust, then a regulator, leading to a hose with a blowgun or check valve or something connected to a snorkel with a purge valve on it.
I did it with my last setup, but with a garden sprayer, a length of tubing, cork, and a snorkel. It worked pretty well, but I needed higher pressure which I wasn't getting from the sprayer. So its a new year, and I wanted to try this again. Any tips would be helpful, and please don't say its a stupid idea, I know that which is why I am doing it...
I did my research on the pressure's required for different depths, and it says I would be fine at about 2 bar at 6 feet of water, so 3 bar for 7 feet and so on. At 33 feet of water 10 bar is required, but the max depth I would even try is 12 feet (because thats what is available to me...).

You can probably just get a co2 tank and a regulator and you'll be great. 
But seriously I've been scuba diving a couple of times and I've gone as deep as 30m (100') and I can tell you, you don't want to take any risks underwater. You should invest in a standard tank and some low end or even second hand gear. At the very least buy the second stage mouth regulator, they adjust on their own with the increse in Pressure at depth. Buying the tank would also be a great investment because you could use it on some HPA guns.

The risk factor in the spudding hobby is bad enough but I think the risk factor to building your own S.C.U.B.A. outfit is to much to be here on Spudfiles.
Others will feel differently so I'll tell you what I'm going to do. This thread is getting locked BUT, if another moderator or PCGUY thinks the risk is no more then spudding they can unlock it and I'll drop it with no worries.
