Oh god, how much did that ad cost to make? :P

I have to say, I didn't see the bottle opener hanging from her hip until the last few seconds

I saw it, cause I instantly knew this was going to be one of those "find the product we're selling" adverts. :D

My suggestion would be to affix the thing to the wall and unload a clip of the largest caliber firearm/airgun you can at; the largest that doesn't cause significant damage. Steel strike plates for body armor are thinner than the Torq, and usually just shrug off small rounds with only a lead smear to show for it.

Also, not sure how brass actually holds up in the long run, but alternatively, you could get that gold finish by doing a titanium nitride coating on a steel alloy. I'm guessing you'd have to 'outsource' that operation, though.

Wait a minute... titanium... CNC... I don't suppose you ever take small jobs at all? probably way out of what I can ever afford, but if you do what's a ballpark figure for say, a pair of BMX cranks from 4Al6V? Because god dammit, there aren't many machinist that even think of trying to CNC from titanium.

Got CAD drawing? Price is going to be a lot better on 10 sets. Lots of people I've done projects for like this crowd fund through forums etc.. Do send me a drawing if you got.

Ahh cool, I'll whip out my old hard drive when I get a chance and i'll send whatever I have. I'll send files for a pair of bmx brake calipers, just to see what sort of price it'd be, since brake arms are probably the most complex of the designs I have. What file format do you prefer?

We can open DWG, STL, IGES, SAT, DXF, SLDPRT, 3DM, and a few others. We can work from 2 or 3d files. In general, one of the features that will slow us down is internal splines.
