So... why is it more dangerous to use propane as fuel, by the way?
They use it all the time in movies because it doesnt stick to stuff like gasoline/napalm.

So this is the design I've settled on. A simple, compact canister. It uses a union to open and close, and one section of the union is plugged and tapped with a guage and a schrader.

I know the chances of it are slim, but I wanted to make sure that when the alcohol runs out, the propane doesn't escape and increase the risk of back up.

I will have a ball floating in the alcohol. When the alcohol is used up, it simply plugs an opening so that the propane stays inside.
