Oh man that really sucks. My friends parents are pretty cool, when I was at his house they let us watch Saw late at night with the surround sound on. It rocked lol.
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

ya, my dad is pretty cool unlike patricks, even if he is a little obsessive about school work. he lets me stay up as late as i want on weekends, and i can do pretty much anything i want(thats not deadly...havent told him exactly how powerfull my cannon is yet. ) and he lets me make potato cannons/play with fireowrks/fire :D

saw was a let down, I didn't like it at all... it wasn't even that suspenseful.
Movie dialogue: "The good die first."
Tom: "But most of us are morally ambiguous, which explains our random dying
patterns."

True story:

I had an old lady call up my IT company one day and say, "I need a new cup holder for my computer". Nobody knew what she meant.
I made an appointment to go out to her house and see what she was talking about.
Upon getting there, I discovered that she had been using her CD drive tray for a cup holder. She had never seen a CD or DVD, and didn't know what they were. Recently she set a 32oz Coke on it, which broke it.
I replaced her CDRW drive, and showed her how to insert a CD into her computer.

Another true story:

A gentleman recently called up my company and asked if we'd install some new home phones (hardwired phones) for him. I said that we could probably help, and asked what the problem seemed to be. He said he hooked up the new phones he bought, but he couldn't figure out how to "program my number into them so that they know when to ring when someone calls me".

Yet another one:

I went out to a job site to take a look at a computer for a friend's mother. Her hard drive had died (it was making the famous click of death). I took the computer back to the shop, put her drive in our data recovery unit, got back 95% of her files, put a new drive in her machine, reinstalled her OS, copied her files back to it, and brought it to her. Two weeks later, the new HDD died, too. I went back out and took a good look around. She had one of those electromagnetic levitation gizmo's that levitates a little picture frame mid-air, sitting right next to her PC. Need I say more?

I deal with a lot of, uh, uneducated people in my line of work. If I didn't laugh about it so much, I'd be insane by now.

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

This threads still going??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All of those people included in that quote should receive some kinda reward. BTW, Pete, some computer virus creators just have large electromagnets around their comps so they can just kill it's memory and all proof of them creating viruses is lost.

Ricky Gervais(as David Brent on BBC 'The Office') - Space Man:

Spaceman came down to answer some things,
The world gathered round from paupers to kings,
I’ll answer your questions, I’ll answer them true,
I’ll show the way you know what to do,
Who is wrong and who is right?
Yellow, brown or black or white?
The spaceman he answered “You’ll no longer mind...
I’ve opened your eyes, you’re now colour blind”.

Listen to it here: http://www.wernhamhogg.co.uk/sounds1/spaceman.mp3

And yes BBC the Office(UK) is far better then the American Version

That's unlikely to work. Police recovery techniques can now read 3 (sometimes more) versions of data back. Not just what's on there now, but what was there before that, and even before that.

It might corrupt it beyond what the computer can understand, but the police could have a damned good go at getting the data back.

frankrede: Well then I guess it won't matter when you decide to drink bleach because your out of kool-aid.
...I'm sorry, but that made my year.

For the love of God! When I say no more talk of evolution versus creationism, quite simply do not do it any more. SpudFiles provides the resources for you to still conduct such discussions, that place being Theopia.

What pisses me off?
