It's been a bit more work at times, I don't think any of us would have felt right about heading to a breeder when we could rehome one. Particularly as we had few preconceptions about what sort of a dog we wanted beyond "medium size and not short muzzled".

Charlie wasn't there because he'd been abused - he was just pretty unruly and his old family didn't have the time to sort him out (the story is that the wife had to go back to work because of financial troubles and he was wrecking the house), but that's still a dog that needs a new home.

Now we've got him under control (well, mostly), most people are somewhat incredulous that he's from a rescue.

Holy hell Rag... That figure is only 54mm high? You put an amazing amount of detail in a very small space. I'm not sure how original your character idea actually is in this type of tabletop game, but I find it rather hilarious myself. She looks right out of GoW or the unreal series.

Good to see you back Rag. Regarding your dog, try just whacking a hammer against some hardwood. Lightly at first, then as he gets used to it, whack it harder.

Better still, hold him around the neck with one arm, and have someone make said noises. He'll be far more confident with you around and get used to it far quicker.

(I'd suggest firecrackers but I don't know about the legality of them in the UK as of late.)

Hingewise, this.

If you can get flaring tools the size of the tubing and fittings, perhaps as you tighten the fitting, the friction increases. Otherwise I'm no help.

56.5mm. Model scale is often measured to eye level rather than the top of the head, but she's a little bit shorter than some, despite the heels on her armour.

In the Warhammer 40,000 universe, not at all, particularly given I based her off official art. Although I did add the chainsaw, and yes, I had been playing Gears of War at the time.

For the Inquisitor game specifically, she's a bit more unusual.

Problem solved.

It's not a proper project unless you've had to build at least one new tool along the way, so this is "Smoulder":

Basically, it's scrap 15mm pipe which has been turned into a core drill which could chuck into the power drill.

It got its name because it had to be be greased to stop it setting fire to the wood. But heck, it was only ever designed as a one shot and hopefully never needs to be used again.

Anyway, now I have 14 little plugs in exactly the right size, I believe the required emotional display on my part is "yay".

Keep up the good work and if you ever have plans to build and sell these, i would be interested in a Land Raider.

Next time if you need to stiffen a hinge try using a lot of caffeine, eat junkfood, apply mental stress to it and deny it any form of decent rest.

It seems to work on my knees.

I was being sarcastic.

If you want to feel good DON'T do any of those things.

If I were selling these, the pricing would not be pretty. If made to a decent quality, even something small like a Sentinel takes a good 40 hours work, so even at minimum wage plus materials, the numbers would start at about what you'd pay for a Forge World Titan.
