No that wouldn't be the lesson learned here....incense is fine if that's your thing. I personally find it mostly a girlie thing with all the heavy odor, tends to make me sneeze and give me a headache. No man, it's the "no open flames around flammable chemicals" thing...Counterstriker wrote:Thanks for your help.. Lets just say I am never lighting insense again..

Sounds like you ignored advice from 2 days ago. Treating burns...the sooner the better. I'm kind of surprised your mom didn't get you to the doc....you did really tell her didn't you? You need to be concerned about infection in a big way now.Counterstriker wrote:Nice, I am a mini dead head... I have to go to the doctor tommorow...My blister(bubble) ripped in my sleep.
Why wait until tomorrow?

burns are seriously annoying...they hurt like a mother, they take time to heal. I think the worse i've had was a 1" cut by a cutter while i was in the garage...the long of my thumb nail. That was painful too lol.
"J'mets mes pieds où j'veux, et c'est souvent dans la gueule."
When you say "it's fine for now" gives away the fact you are worried. I'm going to stop being on your case about getting to the doctor. You guys are close to the situation there...I assume common sense will ultimately prevail in regard to your injury.
My advice still stands however.

Wait... That's it? How big were they before? Both about the size of a quarter on each thigh.
Honestly I imagined some huge nasty looking blotchy blister like the size of a card or your hand or something. I've never given quarter sized burns any more thought than skinned knees, usually I don't even clean them. I guess the typical human today has a really crappy immune system to worry about an infection from something like that.
By the way, do NOT take any of that as advice, I'm just rambling or something. You decide what's best for you.

Was it a second degree burn? I mean the redness is big but the open skin is only a quarter size. The blister popped and its hurts a little, I am pretty darn healthly I barley eat crap, but still the doctors says to be on the safe side I should get him to check it out._Fnord wrote:Wait... Yes. I typically don't get 1st degree burns, and even then they seem to go away quickly.
I'm not the person to give medical advice, so I'm not going to tell you what to do in this case. But, if it doesn't dry out and heal up soon you should get it checked out asap.
