But Jack.. Take all the power in all those fire hoses and put them into that one Hydraulic cylinder on that fork lift and imagine what you could lift....

Imagine a forklift has a 5 inch diameter piston. The piston has a surface area of 19.63 cubic inches. This means that with just 100 psi, it can lift just under 2000 lbs. That's the power of pressure 
What they made in the video is basically and extreme water rocket with a constant flow. Not sure what country that was in but as a taxpayer, I would rather see firefighters fight fires.
