My dad wont let me go any bigger and my biggest gun is a nuematic and has a 2in 3ft long chamber. But it does go around 600fps at 100psi. What can I say to him that might change his mind but he is really stubborn

cut off the endcap and add a coupler, then endcap. That way it won't seem much bigger, but it will be.
And be wary of jack's advice. You can go up, but don't get too much higher or you run the risk of an exploding tank (in the worst case conditions and scenario)

or take JSR's advice, except make another gun out of metal

he never defined bigger,
you could go smaller with caliber, and higher with the presure, also experiment with some faster rate of fire guns

what's his reason for not letting you build bigger?

I dunno, exploding tanks sound cool.

More pressure is the only way to go. My parents got picky about the size of my launchers, so I just built launchers in the same size that could take twice as much pressure.
They eventually went back on that, but I stayed addicted to high pressure.

Copper cannons with high pressure are the answer :)

Oh and btw, a hybrid is kinda small too...
I guess your parents wont expect that much of power in such a small package.

hehe I knew the link would be along those lines :)

I'm particularly fond of this one, I love the way that T72 is completely obliterated, the comment of one of the operators as the Javelin strikes says it all :)

Of course you don't need to be sophistacted to knock out even the most modern of tanks, allah hu akbar indeed...

I seen Future Weopans and they did a episode about Javelins. They're pretty impressive. That show impires me to build cannons like that.

But when I think of it, when I told my dad about my metered mapp cannon, he said: Didn't you start making pneumatics to stop blowing things up?"

Build it without him knowing, that's what I did with my first spudgun, when my parents said otherwise, now they praise my building of spudguns so my Dad can gloat to his work friends when they come over.

why won't your dad let you build bigger? if its because he doesnt want you having a more powerful cannon you should build a hybrid and make a small but powerful cannon anyway.

I really dont have any way to higher pressure, all I have is a bike pump that goes to 160psi ( he also wont let me get an air compresser) and if I make one without my dad knowing he would cut my head off and eat it for breakfast. and doesnt like the idea of a of a hybrid He says that its just like making a bomb. My dad is not stupid.and he really doesnt like this hobby and he says he wont let me have any thing that can kill someone
