Where are you from?

Spudfiles Census: Dec 2007/Jan 2008
The question of global location came up in the chat area yesterday, and I began to wonder, how is Spudfiles distributed across the globe?
I know we have the frappr map, but I can't get that to work, and many people don't want to use it because they don't want to be too specific about their location (and I don't feel comfortable putting a "marker" in the wrong place, so why should anyone else feel different?). Anyway, that's a mess of markers which doesn't tell me numbers or even if the user is still active. I look at it, and I know the proportions aren't right.
So, I've complied a poll that lets you be either specific just to your country, with all the countries I can think of that have members in. There's a 28 day limit on the poll so we just get a snapshot of the members active at this point in time. We can fire up another poll another time (like in the summer when more people will find time for spudding).
I tried to provide a lot of options to allow you to either be a bit vague, or just "over here somewhere" - but I wasn't allowed that many, so I had to trim it down heavily, so I've had to make some groupings I wasn't happy with.
