GribNation needs help with TeamSpeak type deal

Hey guys. So at GribNation we're getting ready to do a spud gun show and I want to take callers on the show. Instead of phone calling in, I'm gonna use Team Speak or something like that. The problem is that I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to that kind of thing. I want to be able to use this every show so that all the crazy bastards not only will be able to listen live but i will be able to respond to them verbally as well. So if anyone has any ideas or can walk me through the whole setup I would appreciate it. Thanks guys

Well you could do it with Skype, that'll give it a more realistic 'phone-in' feeling as it makes ringing noises and such, then you can have a headset to talk and listen and hook the sound up to what ever you use for broadcasting and the listeners should hear everything.

What I'm looking to be able to do is, ok here's my setup. I got my main computer this one, as my recorder. I got my laptop setup for sound effects but i got another guy for that too. I can use my laptop for the skype of team speak deal. i'll have one of my out feeds from my soundboard plugged into the mic port on my laptop and the out of the laptop into one of the channels on the board. i want to be able to mute my side of everyone else's conversation and be able to unmute just one person at a time so i will be able to hear them and what not. let me know how i can do this

Edit, Ok so I just downloaded Skype, so if anyone wants to try me out just look me up GribNation - No Holds Barred and let's see how this thing works!! Hopefully we can use this for the show tomorrow night!

You need to set up one computer to run the TeamSpeak server. I've done this successfully before on my second computer.

If we had a Team Speak Server for next weeks show, tonights show will be cutting it close to get everything set up tonight, but if we got it all setup who would be interested in listening to the show live and being able to comment live like a phone in show. Especially if we do our spudgun show next week
