True story, I once met a guy, who had a fifteen year prison sentence.
He was a white guy, American born in Missouri who converted to Islam and married some Bosnian woman and has four children.
He was a reporter for a muslim newspaper.
He lived in Virginia and got together with guys from his mosque to go canoeing and stuff. They also played paintballs a lot which could also be considered training I guess.
He owned an AK type semi-auto rifle because he liked it. The FBI tapped his phone for like two years.
One story he covered for the paper was on some stupid group noone even cares about, who want India out of some stupid country.
The article he wrote about a leader of that group was published in 1999. In like 2001 that group was put on a terrorist list.
They still couldn't bust him for anything so they got a 20 year old to go to him and ask for information about his source. The young guy told him he wanted to meet the source of his story, so he gave him his sources address/ info.
Soon after that he was coming home from picking up his daughter from ballet and a bunch of agents grabbed him and now he's in jail for fifteen years and has a sentence of "material support for terrorists"!!!
No I am not muslim, I am an American who believes in freedom of the press, freedom of speech, the right to assemble, freedom of religion, the right to keep and bear arms etc. all the other B.S. they say are our rights.
My Point: When someone comes around asking for information about something (it may seem rational even or sound obviously totally stupid)
BE CAREFUL, They could be a terrorist. Maybe they want to harm people or animals. Worst of all, they could work for the government.
When it comes to chemicals/explosive stuff, if someone's not smart enough to do something they may not be smart enough to use it.
