Moderator positions open over at Theopia.

Theopia is growing, and growing quite fast. Our main contributing moderator is away for a few weeks, and I don't have the time to read every post like i should.

In light of this, i have decided to open up from 1 to 4 moderator positions on the forum.

Moderators will be responsible for keeping the forum tidy and enforcing the rules, and upholding the integrity of the forum.

Applicants for this/these positions must Send in a résumé detailing the following:

Your forum name, email address, and optionally your IM screenname or phone number.

How you believe you can better our community.

A short sentence or two on the topic of what it is to be a Theopian.

Optionally, your screenname(s) on and the url(s) of any other public forums that you are a member of, including moderation and administration positions on said forums.

Optionally, any extracurricular activities or abilities that you believe can better or add to our community.

Please send the above information in an email to theomoderators@gmail.com and we will contact you at a later date.

Please note that that the final decision will be impartial to any existing friendships or other social or business connections.

Your submissions will remain confidential, as we hold your privacy in the highest regard.

Do you think this would work ??? :
"An extremely bored Spudfilian or a spudfilian experiencing technical difficulties logging on to spudfiles at the moment.
Possibly a student looking for places to hide his porn or seeking to read or write general misfit or info on all sorts of other cool sh!t."

D*mn I'd apply (Not saying I'd get it), but I'm going to be leaving for three months tuesday probably and hopefully during the last two I can get onto a computer.

BTW, my sentences were a joke. I think Theopia has good posts, just not enough active members and great potential.

It worth a try for members to get experience in moderating. There will be a sorta interview I'm guessing. zarnochwf1 is a good guy, and would be fun to work with and learn from. aetherguy881 and Bc Pneumatics are also mods for Theopia.

Hmm tempting but i'd prefer to spend more time modding Spudfiles then to split the time between the two.

I personally prefer all SpudFiles moderators to stick to SpudFiles, and vise verse.

I don't do much moderating myself any more - the three forums I moderate are pretty quiet these days, and I don't actually visit them too regularly any more.
Still, there's not that much that needs doing on them. There's not too much spam because of anti-spam bot mechanisms, and the members are generally pretty well behaved - just the odd ruckus where a couple of n00bs need their heads cracked together (Great fun. I used to have a head cracking together smiley. )

It wouldn't make much sense for me to apply to Theopia, I'm not a regular enough visitor there that I'd be any use as a moderator - I'm just not around there as often as I am here.
