Well ive always wanted a drum set since i was a little boy and my friend is selling me his old crappy one since he has bought a new one.
Ive never had the money for one but he is selling me his for 50 dollars. It may not be the best of sets but just having one is good enough for me.
Well i was just wondering what some relatively easy sings i could pick up are?

I tried google. Also youtube. Problem there is, i have to listen to every song and concentrate on the set part of each song.
I found it would cut my search time down quite a bit if people gave me suggestions on songs that they feel have simple drum parts.

Playing the drums is something you should get some real instruction on. It's a lot more difficult than you might think especially making your legs work in concert with your arms...will require lots of practice to get down.
Plan on taking some real lessons if you want to be successful.

I play (barely) and one good song is "send the pain below" (Chevelle). Some others are most Weezer songs, like "Say it aint so" or "Buddy Holly". You also might try some Franz Ferdinand or AC/DC.
As Starman said, playing drums is MUCH tougher than it looks. I have a 7 year musical background, and I find drums very difficult. It's a LOT of fun though! Stick with it!

I probably should have added i have been on my schools drumline for 4 years. I play bass and ocassionally tenors.
I can work my feet and hands together because i have to march and play, so thats not a problem.
Also i play a few of my friends sets as well. From what they say im not so bad for a beginner. I can play The rock show by blink 182.
I have quite a bit of experience with drums though.

I'd think Seven Nation Army & The Hardes Button to Button by White stripes wouldn't be incredibly hard, but I'm not a percussionist.

Trust me, kick drum and hi-hat pedaling is nothing like marching. If you play bass and tenors you'll need to brush up on your rolls, flams and paradiddles...snare technique becomes much more of a key thing with trap set play. That's not to mention all the cymbal and toy techniques you'll need to master.
Sounds like you have some good starting background. Stick with it and practice a ton. Very few people successfully learn to play trap drum set, much less very well. It is by no means a natural skill.
