but it was only $150 in the store.
wat do u think should I stop with the cannons for a few months and try flying?

looks kinda cheap/simple/small to be an actual hobby as opposed to a boredom killer. But hey, if you want it...

Good plan, from what I've heard, it can take a week just to figure out how to get one of these things to hover. Best to start small.

I've always wanted to try one...I was thinking of getting one of the cheap $40 ones from Radio Shack.

the thing about RC helicopters, is that i would only really get satisfaction from it if i made it myself, or at least constructed it myself... but whatever floats your boat :D

This RC helicopter is the best to start.

But, well, rc hobby is for old people that like to make a lot of electronics and complicated things...And it is VERY expensive

And i like more to shoot with spudguns then playing with my dad helicopters(he got 3 and spended 1500 $ more on it)

I really like flying rc helis but my favorite one and the one I've used the most a picooz type heli they are fun to fly, charge in minutes and really easy to learn. They are also nearly indestructible, and if you somehow manage to damage one its fun to mod it and optimize performance. I think a mini RC heli would be a great first to see if you like them.

buy a cheap one to practice, and when you are good, get a T-rex. There the best out there, they can hover upside down =)

Better yet, go into rc jets. They go up to ones that have real turbine engines taht combust kerosene, and go 200mph+

Im not trying to be a nag or anything, but am i the only one that noticed this is in the wrong section?

Anyway, i think rc helicopters are pretty cool. My friends uncle has two. The bigger one he has was 2500 dollars. Its pretty sweet but i wouldnt spen the money on them.

Especially chancing the fact it is very easy to wreck them. Did you ever think about if the battery dies in flight? Im sure you will say you will charge it before you fly it but you never know how long they last. And the cheaper ones dont have anything to keep them up until they land like the expensive ones do.

My personal ambition has been to take a turbocharger and build a turbine engine. That has always sounded like a lot of fun. Also, getting a bunch of cheap R/C planes and setting up a few airburst guns in a triple-A setup sounds like a hell of a lot of fun......

well i think that heli is a great choice for beginners. i have a T-rex, raptor 60 and raptor 90. i have to completley disagree with Spudblaster that land vehicles are more fun than airborne craft. :D

much more freedom of movement!

have fun flying!

PS:

Its called an auto rotation. not terribly hard to do once you learn it lol

ok ok ok
wat limitation do land base have than if u think about it
their both the same
but air base can go high or low

so if u think bout it land base is limited to the ground ( not counting jumping stuff with it thats like 5 sec hang time)
