Recently, I designed and built this, a rubber band minigun (Gatling) that has the power to cut cardboard. It holds up to 2000 rubberbands, and fires at 50 rubberbands per second. The only way to describe it is fu*#in awesome.

not to be a dick or anything but why the hell would you post this like anyone can say that they built a rubber band gun but you gotta make us thinking Whoaa thats soo cool. How about some damage pics, vids going through the build showing parts or how it works.

im uploading a vid now, but this gun isnt exactly small, unless you consider 7 feet long small.

The picture looks like it was ripped from a youtube video.

I ripped it from the video im trying to upload right now, but im having trouble uploading it, if you dont believe that thats real, I suggest that you seach youtube, and google, and try to fingd a video with that in it.

i cant get it to upload, so i guess the only way to get it on here is to first put it on youtube

write your spudfiles name on a peice of paper and take a picture.. then we know its legitly yours.. otherwise because of the lack of imediate picture, as well as a bad description and a picture from a youtube video.. it makes it sound fishy.. not saying an random new member cant create something like this.. but with the above posts.. you need to make your case..

and instead of telling us to search on youtube or google if we dont beleive you..if it was truely yours wouldnt you just post a link to your youtube video or thread? Idk if you are trying to make yourself sound illegitimate but you are doing a good job of it so far. Its not very convicing when this post alone has more text than your description of your rubber band gun.

Well, here's the way I see it.

Most, if not all, of Spudfiles members don't really care about something like this if all we get is a picture and a "description" merely telling us what the object does.

I'm not trying to be an asshole, but most of what we care about is "How did you build that? How does it function? What principles does it operate on?"

It's really what separates Spudfiles from other places like low-end airsoft sites or places like weapon boards who simply gawk over factory-built machinery and brag about their statistics.

So, maybe post some diagrams, maybe a short description on how it operates? Then you will have our attention.

Don't just post a picture or two and expect a bunch of asspats from us.

P.S. - and for the video, what most of us do is upload it to YouTube first, and then link to it or embed it in the forums.

Besides, anyone who's built a BBMG will tell you that rubberband gatlings are poo in comparison
