With as many people who like loud noises as we have here, I know there's a few besides my self who are auto enthusiasts.
If you have something special sitting in your driveway, or a project car, or a classic, or even just a junker you like to drive faster than is strictly necessary, share it with the rest of us!
My own pride and joy:

And at the strip (not my best run, and, yes, it's supposed to make that noise):

Your run looked reasonably impressive especially for a chassis/body that size. I guess I've just got too much V8 rumble in my blood...The take off sounded like a 1973 Ford Pinto.... Once it rev'd up down the straight, it sang a little better.
Also, I believe the viper was having some difficulty getting going there....
However, I can appreciate the level of effort you put into the upgrades, not to mention some significant dough ($$$). It is a nice performer in sheep's clothing.

The take-off is less than spectacular in this car, yes. With 311lb-ft at the front wheels, even those slicks are hard put to get grip. I have to feather the throttle pretty hard to launch.
There's a bunch more mods in the pipeline.
The Viper fragged his rear end on the launch. He knew it was going, so he was trying for one more run before taking it home and replacing the differential.
So...V8 rumble eh? Come on, pony up, whatcha got? lol

Oh nothing to show off at all. 1997 Dodge Ram 4 X 4 1500 pickup, 318 ci all stock... Hey, I've learned to be very utilitarian in my years. Here's a broadside pic, with my sound job trailer in tow.
This was my baby a few years ago...with my son aboard....

I am going to unlock this for a bit since I have a bit to add to this thread
I drive a 96 Grand Prix. Originally came with a 3.1 liter V6, I upgraded to a more modern 3.5 liter V6, fully ported and polished, "stage 2" cam, headers, custom tune, valvetrain, larger throttle body, etc. The car has also been lowered, has upgraded swaybars, full 2.5" header-back dual exhaust, strut bars, performance struts, and sticky tires.
I love it!!!
I do have others things in my life aside from SpudFiles.
Here are a few pictures.

My father is working on restoring a 1969 RS SS camaro. It has the a 396 big block w/ high rise carb and a steep gear ratio. It will eat all of your cars!! The only downside is lack of traction in turns and the launch. also I am pretty sure it gets gallons per mile not MPG.

This used to be my baby. An 05 Subaru WRX wagon.
Now this is what she looks like....
Kinda sad. Someone ran a red light and I ended up in someones front yard. Luckily nobody was hurt though. My car still had "just married" written on the back window too.
Now I drive an oldish ford ranger and I was able to buy my wife a decent Hyundai without any more car payments thanks to the insurance money.

Dude, that is unbelievably cool! I love the pregen GPs. Is it the new 3.5, or the older "ShortStar" motor?
Jook, that hurts to look at. I kinda like the WReX, even though I'm a die-hard GM guy.
BTW, jrrdw, I'm not on Theopia. The reason I posted it here was because I was curious about people here. I'm not asking for automotive advice, just what cars people have. I have posted spudgun topics in the off-topic areas on the various car forums I'm on and gotten enthusiastic replies.
