Anheuser -Busch[sp] has a advertisement series called Real Men of Genius
parodying? unsung occupations, obsessions, and off the wall ideas.

Mr T-shirt launcher Inventor had me snorting coffee out my nose when I heard it on the radio .

Hmm. Not sure I'm all that keen on the "dislocate a mascot's shoulder" line, but mildly amusing nonetheless.

I shouldn't really need to lie, as I'm above the drinking age for the UK (which is 18 years old), but of course, the site doesn't consider that.

I don't get quite why they bother with those things. It's all too easy to lie, and the site hardly contains anything that's dangerous to people below that age. Is it perhaps that anyone below 21 isn't even supposed to know that beer exists?
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

Yeah it's stupid. There have been several high profile federal level law suits here in The States regarding cigarette and alcohol advertising that targets youth...ie. Joe Camel from back in the 80s and 90s. Anheuser Busch is making a legally superficial attempt at an age block.

It would be cool if they had an associated video for it.

The point of those age check things is that it shifts the liability off of them. They ask your age, it's not their fault if you lie...
