Well, if you can find out how long it is, and find a vetical picture of it, you would be able to find it out, I will look for a bird's eye of one, if you can tell me the length

Alright, so if this picture of an airsoft m240 is accurate, its allot thinner than I imagined, it's probably pretty estimateable,

looks like only a couple inches, say 3 or 4, nothing more,
funny, I would have thought more, maybe this airsoft gun is just inaccurate.

thank guyz i thought it was about there i just could believe it because it doesnt look like it. this is the body not the widest part on the part that flips open so you can put the ammo in right? on my pictures that i found the scale of the reciver doesnt seem much wider then the thckest part of the barrel which is only about 1.5 inches so thats wat threw me off
Yea, it looks like the thickest part is the heat guard, and that could be made easily, depending on what you make it out of, speaking of it all, How is the gun coming along, I'm actually quite looking forward to it, it's sounding promising so far,

i didnt mean the heatguard i meant to the body which holds the bolt and guts of the real gun.sputnick wrote:Yea, it looks like the thickest part is the heat guard, and that could be made easily, depending on what you make it out of, speaking of it all, How is the gun coming along, I'm actually quite looking forward to it, it's sounding promising so far,
the gun is not coming along well parts wise as i have one shot at getting all the parts thursday and if i dont get some i might have to wait a while because im going snow camping friday-sunday.
other then that it good just waiting to figure out the width and im done planning
just another question should the 1/8 or 1/4 inch end of the blowgun go into the cap.
the cap is connected to the blowgun by a hose and my hoses leak at the joint between the nipple and the hose anyone know how to solve it i have an idea just want to know what u guyz say.
