look it up buddy, there are not many posts here about building a stirrup pump, your best bet would be to try elsewhere ... say google...

What Sputnick is trying to say is, you might want to try Google if you don't find the info you need on SpudFiles.
And on that note, Welcome to SpudFiles.

See if this helps.

They pump to a higher pressure, but limit the volume to less.

There are actually quite a few. Several I recall quite well.

daniel323,

Just search the forum, try the how-to section and pneumatic cannon discussion section when searching. Try searching 'how to stirrup' and then click the circle underneath saying 'search for all terms'.

Search 'Search topic title and message text' and display as 'topics'.

Either search the whole forum, or narrow it down. If you tick the circle 'search for all terms', it will only display results that include all the terms you typed in. So try things like 'stirrup pump' 'how to pump' etc and hopefully it will bring up how-to's on pumps and compressors etc.

The handle is hooked to a piston that goes inside the tube. As you lift up, it allows air to enter through the piston (which is a check valve of some sort). As you push down, it forces this air out the exhaust, which enters into the chamber of whatever you intend on filling.

It's basically a bike tire pump.
