Anyone else into digital image manipulation with programs such as photoshop? Hopefully this won't be ordered to theopia land. I guess cannon artwork is allowed..I'm happy to do editing for people if they desire.

Here's one I did for photography:

The wonderful inspiration..(Madonna's daughter)

Monobrow removed, moustache removed, nostril hairs removed, eyelashes shortened, teeth whitened, pupils moved a little etc etc.. Then a nice 'weave' pattern.

I agree with the "have to changes" that you listed but the 'weave' pattern is too much.

I do some digital image magic, but time limits the amount.

The weave in the original is a simple one button effect in The Gimp. It has lots of features, but like learning to drive a car, you don't need to know absolutely everything to get started. For example, you don't need to know how to program the radio stations into the presets.

Photo editing is the same. Learn a bit at a time.

Many times the effects are applied too heavy as noted. With a fine grain and a lighter touch, the effect can be very nice.

Click on the photos for full size.

The theme was abstract or alternative- hell, half the people just went liquefy and made her look like a rabbit or gave her a goatee.

I might have other stuff on my photobucket- but I ain't goin through that many pages to find it.

I'm no pro but it takes some skill in PS so that it doesn't look obvious.

It's just that you can't see the other changes so good with the weave pattern on it.

Now you tell me it's abstract.. Back to the editing. Busy now. Will edit later. Power goo time.

I do some occasionally.

Most of what I do is image fixes like taking power lines out of landscapes, contrast adjustment and minor fixes of my drawings, but every now and again, I do something with lightsabers, lightning or explosions.

Or potatoflinger stealing handbags. It's a toss up.

OK, here is one of my attempts at a little abstract. Enjoy.
