is there old gas in it? maybe clean the carburetor.
Is the green stuff coolant? put some seafoam in the gas tank?
Its really hard to say without a picture of the motor and a better description.

I think I need some help too with my sons mini dirt bike... :D ( 2 stroke)

I filed out the exhaust so gas now flows through as smooth as can be and it revs like crazy now...
It had a welding burr on it earlier wich restricted flow...

I hate flow restriction.. :D
I also made my own ( large volume) muffler for it, spudgun style..
This gave it more power, as the expansion tube now works like it should...

Spudgunning surely has helped me understand engines, flow, combustion, the importance of fuel mixture, pressure etcetera..

So...can someone help me get an astronaut suit for my kid.??..this thing is a missile now...

But as always..You've got to get that bigger piston!!

I've had something similar happen. does your gas tank have a vent? do you know what a vent is? My dirtbike's gas tank vent was sealed and created a suction and would let gas into the carb (thing that makes gas go in piston to go boom! and spin the engines shaft). If your vent is sealed it usually won't run but my bike ran for a good 30-45 minutes and then it would get real weak and stop. then it wouldn't start. so i would let it sit and then i'd start it back up again.

EDIT: woops just saw this post was pointless and has ended.
