I got a job opportunity with a machinist! Great chance too, because if I am allowed to try my hand at the lathe, I may actually prove a point to my grandfather, so I can't wait! I will mostly be doing stuff like polishing parts, and carrying stuff from the cnc to the polisher, then packing them after I polish them.

Hey try and watch as much as you can and see how different machines are operated, a few weeks of that is worth months of schooling.

- Mark Drutarovsky did not feel like going to school on Friday.

So, when his mother tracked the truant down that morning and tried to convince him otherwise, he loaded a rifle and threatened to shoot her, according to a criminal complaint.

The 19-year-old's mother, Michelle Plunkett, ran from his grandparents' , where her son was staying, and found South Abington Twp. police Officer Leonard K. Harvey in his cruiser at Ransom Road and Skyline Drive, according to the complaint.

The senior at Abington Heights High School had been skipping school a lot lately, Ms. Plunkett told the officer, and when she learned Friday he had taken the day off again, she went to his grandparents' home to check on him. Mr. Drutarovsky's car was in the driveway.

After Ms. Plunkett banged on the door, her son opened it, and the two began an argument that led inside the home, according to the complaint. When Ms. Plunkett picked up a phone to call for help, the argument took a violent turn.

Mr. Drutarovsky picked up a rifle, loaded a round and pointed the weapon at his mother, threatening to shoot her if she did not put the phone down, the complaint said.

When police later responded to the Creek Road home, they found two shotguns and an unloaded rifle, but the pistol Ms. Plunkett told them should also be there was missing, along with her son, according to the complaint.

The officers then drove to the high school, where they spoke to Mr. Drutarovsky's girlfriend - who was in a bedroom during the incident with his mother, police said.

She corroborated Ms. Plunkett's story and said her boyfriend had dropped her off at school without saying where he was going, according to the complaint. Not long after, police managed to get in touch with Mr. Drutarovsky, arranged to meet him at a local park and took him into custody.

In an interview with police, Mr. Drutarovsky admitted to picking up the rifle and telling his mother to leave, although he said the weapon was not loaded at the time, according to the complaint. He was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person.

Mr. Drutarovsky was sent to the county Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday.

A psychological evaluation with compulsory meetings with a shrink for a set period of time, probation for a few years (with the inclusion of a condition that he cannot be around firearms) and some community service.

Not sure if people like that should be put in prison but then again I'm assuming that he's someone who does bad things because he may have a mental illness (depression?) and not because he has a will/intent to kill.

It's sometimes difficult to draw a line between someone who should be in prison or a mental institute as it could be argued that many serial killers have a psychological condition that allows them to kill without emotion and such.

I think in this case the kid just needs someone he can talk to and rely on (a mentor perhaps) and maybe that person needs to be someone other than his family or friends.

Sadly idk what they are going to do for him,, hes not the person that he likes to talk it out
my older brother said most def prison time, those arent piddy small crimes
Community services , that kid wouldnt do, he isnt that type of kid ,,, maybe prison then if hes good he will receive probation,,,,Im only making guesses again I dont know the court system nd judges
