20 dollars will buy you a fairly good bike tire pump. 200 dollars will buy you a fairly good air compressor, sorry.

Are you looking for high pressure (150+ p.s.i.) or a high rate of flow (20+ cubic feet per minute, etc.)?

Anything that works... I need something that doesnt freeze up and can fill up a 2 gallon tank to 50 psi in about a minute...

Try craigslist I've seen decent old compressors for cheap (twenty bucks is really low even used)

I second the craigslist option. Or even try some local swap meets. That's where I got my 18cfm compressor (only $40!).

If you're willing to do repairs there's a lot available, I bought a $150 shop compressor for $10. The overpressure shutoff doesn't work, but it still has a popoff I just switch it off when I hear it. It needed a little rewiring but that's no problem (for me anyway).
Just have paticence, you'll find something, it'll just take a little time.

Ok, Jimmy, are you by any chance in alabama? (I am just noticing your UA support...) I will look through craigslist for sure.

Actually I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm going to UA for college.
And i just did a quick search on the Cincinnati craigslist... There are a ton of compressors for dirt cheap. Im sure it would be the same for any major U.S. city.

Save up or buy a stirrup pump.

I know this sucks, but just sit tight and save up. If you buy a $20 compressor, it isn't going to last at all. The only way it would is if someone you knew was really nice any was just trying to help you out.
You can't buy a tank of gas for $20, let along a decent piece of machinery that is going to last for at least a few years.

Been checking ebay and I found a few cheap compressors, some with extra fittings for it too! $40 for one that had inflators and blowguns plus free shipping!
