Hi!

For long time, i'v been trying to find Yaesu vx-7r handheld 3 band fig, and now i found one from one of the web stores in States. Problem is, they dont ship to finland. So im kindly adkin if someone from States that owns an amateur radio callsing would buy one and post it to me. Like this

1. Ill transfer the money for you
2. You buy the radio
3. You test the radio
4. You ship it to me
5. Im happy and ill make you a traditional viking style knife

I would appreciate this alot, if you are willing to do all this, please PM me.

Hmm, Looked that one up and it seems to have two flavors, a tri band and a quad band. One has 220 and one does not.

I am not a ham but my family members are. Are you on HF?

Will Yeasu ship directly to you?

Due to the proximity of the 50 Mhz band to television, it is not popular here.

Wikipedia lists it as a quad band. It may be in error.

Official Yeasu site lists it as a tri band.

Found a site where you can get shipping to EU with no tax and it comes with all TX frequencies unlocked..

Well I'll give you a good review for the VX-7r, had mine for a year, excellent battery life, it's had a few heavy knocks and still going strong, good sound quality, the antenna it comes with is good, I haven't wanted to change it.

I can't fault it.

The 7r comes with 220, the 7e has it locked out.

I'm not on HF, but I'll hear you around sometime.

As much as I loath to say it, similar to CB radio, except far far far far far far more professional. You need a license, you are issued a callsign, you behave in a much more professional manner.

But you get many more frequencies and bands to work on, you can transmit amateur TV, Earth Moon Earth communication (bouncing a signal off the Moon), and so on.

In a way, but you can talk instead of just listen.
