this place is huge too. but there is no real layout to the place. just buildings and hallways connecting all over the place. it's a mess. so much new stuff was built during the summer that the other grades are lost too.

I guess it'll take time and I'll figure it out eventually.

You freshman really need to stop your bitching, lol.

I'm a junior, in a school of 400 kids, taking PreCalc, Physics, AP English and AP US History (college courses).

I wish I could go back to being a freshman with easy courses...

PVC Arsenal 17 wrote:So I got back to school yesterday unfortunately. I'm a freshmen now and a pretty pissed off one too. The place is an enormous clusterfuck of hallways and construction sites. The school board passed a budget a few years back to put a $70 million addition on the shithole courtesy of our general taxpayers! All they succeeded in doing was creating a freakin maze of educational hell. They tried to clear up the congestion in the hallways and stairs but the mob of kids still insists on squeezing through one staircase. I've been more lost than a blind guy on crack.

I go to ask a teacher for some directions and even they don't know where the fork to go. There is no way 2000 clueless kids are gonna find their way out of here in a fire. They also had the bright idea of building a huge gap between three flights of stairs. At the top the only thing keeping our sorry asses from falling down is a little railing that barely reaches the top of my asscrack. I predict a fight will break out by there and a few kids will splattered all over the first floor.

Most of my friends from middle school moved away or got shipped off to private school. My homeroom and lunch only have like 2 people I know in them.

Basically, I'm fucked for 180 days or at least till I figure this place out.

And here's my luck turtle who has nothing to worry about

Lets hope that no one falls. That would be horrible. Your new to this highschool, you will grow on it. Youll have lots of fun as ssoon as you get used to it.

I'm gr 11 taking university prep courses, no AP though, i keep my options wide open, accounting, the 3 sciences + comp engineering, tech/shop... philosophy... recently they dropped calculus from our curriculum

navigating the school is a breeze, but the washrooms are a bit scattered
my school has a basic "figure 8" layout, some extensions on the ground floor, and some portables, a wing has been demolished because of a mold problem , but it wasn't open to anyone for years so it doesn't matter

we got trees in our atrium!
