Does anyone here know how to make an exhaust flamer? I know that it is basically a spark igniting the excess fuel from the engine, and you cant do it on any vehicle with a catalytic convertor. I want to put a flamer on my motorbike and was wondering if a barbecue piezo could do the job?? And also can you use it on a bike that has nitrous on it? Thanks.

Just add an extra sparkplug to your exhaust after the catalytic converter but this is illegal, because my friend tried it on his car and got in a fair bit of trouble.Well it should in theory work with a BBG ignitor but it might not it maye need a continues spark to work properly.

no, that wont do it, its not just a spark. you need a system that allows for more fuel to be dumped into the engine at a certain point resulting in more exhaust, its more then what i said but its not just a spark.

On an episode of "Trucks" on spike tv a coulple years ago he showed how to do that and if I remember right he injected a fuel after the catalytic converter and a spark plug at the tip. Produced an awesome flame.
