i want to get on eof those things that measures distance, its a wheel on a stick that you roll and it measures how far youve gone ( used on mythbusters alot to measure distance)

does anyone know where i could get one or know what their called so i could try googleling it?

I don't know but my dad has a few of them. Just look at a home improvement store.

yes; I think that they are called measuring wheels.
And your might find them at lowes - I've seen them at fairly typical hardware stores before.

look on line at any police supply store. Try Galls. This is a link to their site. http://www.galls.com/gaweb.dll They are used to measure skid marks at accident scenes. I agree you may find it at a Home Depot or Lowes type store. People use them alot to measure their property etc.

I've got one. It's almost exactly 200 yards from the curve of my driveway to the road. Good range for spudding.
