hello fellow "blogers" who most likely like star trek and have skin problems. I have a baja dune 150 with a howhit 9.2 hp 150cc engine. I want more performance from it. tell me how. does anyone offer a total upgrade package to help the cost. does anyone make a computer (usb) interfaced cdi (computer engine controler). get back to me fellow "blogers".

Install a large air scoop on the top or side of the vehicle thats leads to the air intake on the engine. Cold air intake, acts like a small turbo possibly, You could buy one of those electric turbo's.

um i planing on a scoop, and for a turbo i thoght about a motorcycle turbo. turbo's dont give low end power. iv already thought about the basics like exaust and intake. i like the electric turbo though. remember that the torque inverter is open for upgrades to

Maybe you could somehow attatch a pulley to the crankshaft, and have that spin a turbine that will blow air into the intake? Although, you have to be careful or you'll create too much boost, overheat the engine...
wait, that's perfect. Then you can get a bigger engine. Problem solved.
I'm weird, I know it, you don't need to tell me.

better carb and a friction fuel pump, unless you have injection. bigger intake valves and port, step up the timing a bit maybe run a higher compression ratio and methanol fuel perhaps, get a performance exhaust, flat top piston and if all else fails nothing beats more cubes.

yeah it would probably be cheaper to get a newer more powerful engine then to mod this one to try and gain a little more power.

on our kart we had a stock 6.5hp engine. it now runs at just over 13.5hp and all we have done is bore the jets a lil bit and put bigger valves in it. thats a 7hp gain on a small amount of work.

Hop ups on small engines are dependents on a few things. Valve location, ignition set up, carberation. Give me more/those details and i'll let you know what can be done.

ok, long pipe NEW carb or bore out your jets2.5x larger so you can run alcahal. remember, when you re jet you have to find some way to free something else up like exaust or intake. If you do this then the best way do get more power is nitrus or O2
